Toronto Yoga Meditation Day Retreat

Meditation Programs ~ Temporarily Cancelled in the GTA

Namaste friends,

We hope you are well and getting lots of sunshine and fresh air.

As a temporary, precautionary measure and an abundance of care, we are putting all our events on hold for the time being which include kirtans, day retreats, and classes. We hope this will not be for long, but at this time we would like to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus as the health, well-being and peace of mind of all is our top priority. We will be sending out an email and updating our website when we resume our programs.

It’s recommended to wash our hands frequently and keep them away from our faces. Eat healthy, boost our immune system and best to avoid large gatherings and handshaking.

There are some online meditation classes on our website for you to watch and listen to in the meantime.

We will miss you, but we’ll be back – we just want to be extra careful during this time.

Yoga consists of more than exercises (asanas) – it is a complete lifestyle. Yoga is an ancient system for material and spiritual well-being that has been handed down since time immemorial. The heart of yoga is meditation. The process of yoga and meditation brings us to a state of complete harmony, a state of happiness and bliss.

For just a short time leave everyday life and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of yoga – a place of comfort, free from stress and anxiety.

Our retreats are very special events where you can experience reconnecting with yourself and realize what is truly important in your life.

You can participate in:

  • Gentle or more invigorating hatha yoga classes with qualified instructors
  • Mantra meditation – so nice to practice mantra meditation with a group of like minded people
  • Kirtan – Experience your true essence and spiritual love through the singing or chanting of sacred, ancient mantras.
  • Yoga philosophy – learn about the philosophy of yoga meditation.
  • Questions and Answers – take the opportunity to ask questions about meditation and yoga that you have always wanted to ask. Our experienced instructors are happy to answer your questions.
  • Delicious vegetarian/vegan food. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies.
  • Nature walks – breathe fresh air, take a stroll after lunch to aid digestion, and experience the peace and tranquility of nature.

We’re a short 40 minute drive from downtown Toronto and less than 15 minutes from Newmarket.

Please note these retreats are only for people who have previously attended one of our events or classes or have taken the Online Meditation Course. If you have not already attended one of our meditation classes there are many listed here on the website.

Cost: We are asking for a $30 donation to cover costs (please bring cash when you come).

Each attendee must register individually in order to agree to the waiver.
