Aurora – Practicing Meditation – Calm Within: Learn Mantra Meditation
We all desire to be peaceful and happy. We can achieve this through the time-honoured process of meditation. Mantra Meditation calms the mind, relieves stress and anxiety and enables one to experience true happiness. This ancient form of meditation is a potent tool that paves the way for genuine, inner spiritual fulfilment.
Together, we will focus on transcendental sounds known as mantras while practicing three enjoyable methods of meditation using breath, beads and music. These mantras have the wonderful effect of purifying your mind of negative thoughts and emotions.
You are very welcome to participate, whether you’re a beginner or a long-time practitioner. In accordance with ancient yoga traditions, all of our meditation classes are free of charge.
These one-hour sessions are held once a month in person. Registration in advance is required to attend. Please register through the Aurora Library:
